This footage was shot over the
period of four months last year in Chile. The images belong
to a previous process aimed at qualifyig Palestine for
the Olympic Games in Athens. One of the main features of
this team was the fact that most of its members were Chilean-born
Palestinians, members of a 400,000 strong community with
deep roots
in Chilean society. The coach of that team,
Palestinain born Chilean Nicola Hadwa, is no longer in
charge, but about six
of his players remain in the national
team today.
